Darling Lodge Guest House

Darling Lodge Guest House offers 9 rooms in a harmonious blend of old and new reflecting the romantic name of the little town. The main house, the Victorian charm of which has remained intact, offers three individually decorated country style rooms. The more modern garden annex consists of three further generously appointed rooms with a grape-vine covered patio which overlooks the sparkling swimming pool. The design of the 3 Suites (build in 2020) is inspired by traditional open plan green houses. They all offer privacy and come with a private veranda, a spacious lounge, a fridge, a Nespresso machine, ceiling fan and a double/twin bed en-suite WC/bath in a sub divided sleeping area.

Art in the Guesthouse – Most rooms are dedicated to a local artist, whose work is on display and can be purchased. It is our pleasure to arrange a visit at the artist’s workshop by request.

Generous breakfasts are served in the breakfast room or out on the terrace.

The lush garden with its ancient pepper and palm trees, fountain spraying water over blossoming roses, bougainvillea, mass of lavender with its heady fragrance invites guests to relax and unwind. The pool area with sun loungers and open-air lounge is the prefect spot to observe the birdlife or read a book (free Wifi).

Exquisite comfort and personal service is just waiting for you. We have a pillow with your name on it!
