Groeneweide Annual Advent Concert

The mission of Groeneweide is to “provide affordable, comprehensive, sustainable, humane care and accommodation to the elderly in a safe environment”.

In order to live up to our mission we are forced to depend heavily on fundraising events. The Home has developed an annual programme, with scheduled events in order to raise at least R500 000.00 to cover operating costs. Our income from boarding and state subsidies only cover the staff salary budget. Other ad hoc events are also organized to try and get to our target.

On 23 November 2019 the last of our fundraising events for 2019 will take place in the NG Church in Darling. This is a worthwhile cause, since we also try to give Darling’s local music talents exposure. We urge everybody who enjoys good music to support our local talent and thus contribute to our fundraising and get tickets for this great event.

Please join us afterwards at the finger supper in the Church Hall.
