Wolwefontein MTB Trail

Information

Wolwefontein is centrally located within the West Coast on the Western side of of the picturesque town of Darling, a town home to a new generation of brew – Darling Brew to be exact.

Approximately 45 mins from Cape Town in the South, Langebaan in the North and 30 mins from Malmesbury in the East.

Wolwefontein is a trail much needed within the West Coast, offering challenging rides on its 21km Red Route for moderate to experienced riders and 11km Green Route for the beginner and less experienced riders.

Each trail incorporates single track, steep climbs, fast descents, switchback corners with berms, ramp-bridges crossing farm fences, rock garden, portaging and a surprise in the Blue Gums where both trails converge.

And the best part is, as soon as you start to get used to the trail, it changes with the seasons, bringing the added benefit to developing your skill and level of experience.

Wolwefontein is highly recommended for all levels of riders, whether you want a morning out in the West Coast or to tackle the route several times and finally kick back with an ice cold brew in Summer or a lekker warm-koffie met beskuit.
